Getting your business seen online can seem like a really difficult task with marketing and technical abbreviations and initials everywhere: SEO, PPC, CPM, CPC! It doesn’t need to be a daunting task though, and there are ways to list your business online that are uncomplicated and can help to boost your brand’s profile to those who need your products or services.

The Top 10 Online Business Directories are all listed here, and it’s worth you listing your business is on each for maximum exposure.

You guessed this one, right? Listing your business with Google will allow your premises to be highlighted with a picture and contact details in the right-hand side of relevant search results for your industry, area, name or niche.

Bing is the second most popular search engine in the world, and the default for many who are less tech-savvy (and use it through Internet Explorer). These internet users are likely to click through to the first business they see, so make sure it’s yours!

MerchantCircle is a social media network for small businesses and is a great way to not only get the word out about your company but also to suss out the competition. There’s free marketing tools on here that you can use, too.

Listing your business on LinkedIn is underrated. Users can find you, tag you, contact you through the platform and list you as an employer. Even if it’s just used for the latter, your logo will still be out and about all over the place… for free!
