The FIM Speedway World Championship is a popular race between the best motor-cyclists across the globe. The Championship is a series long race between the motor-cyclists whose score is calculated according to their performance and other related parameters. The qualifiers get through it for the performance score during the series and not just one level-up round.
The deal has been inked with an IMG company known as the BSI Speedway that manages the rights to the championship. This partnership will give the British fans to follow Tai Woffinden, the British Champion, watching him guard his title for the upcoming season.
The BSI Speedway’s Managing Director quoted that since the BT sports already holds strong grounds for the motorsport fans; it is a privilege to get the deal inked with them. Working together with such big renowned names in the industry gives them the opportunity to reach a larger audience and hence working with the company for growing prospects in terms of Championships’ audience.
The head of BT Sport, Simon Green said that BT is delighted to expand its motor portfolio to FIM Speedway World Championship. The already existing broadcasts on its plate are World Rally Championship, Formula E, IndyCar, and Moto GP.
