Hatsune Miku is a singing synthesizer application having the female persona. She is considered as one of the most popular Vocaloids all over the world. It is developed by Crypton Future Media and it uses Yamaha Corporation’s Vocaloid 2 synthesizing technology.
The name of the character was derived from the combination of Japanese words hatsu meaning first, ne which means sound and Miku meaning future referring to the position as first of the Crypton’s Character Vocal Series.
Hatsune Miku is the second Vocaloid that is sold by means of using the Vocaloid 2 engine and is the first Vocaloid from Japan that uses the Japanese version of Vocaloid 2 engine.
Hatsune Miku has already sampled from the Japanese voice actress, Saki Fujita and she has performed at the concert onstage as an animated projection.
