What is Ephedrine?

Ephedrine is a sympathomimetic amine commonly used as a stimulant, appetite suppressant, concentration aid, decongestant, and to treat hypo-tension associated with anesthesia.

Although I do agree that some pills should not be sell-able over the Internet, I am much aware of the usefulness of this buying-delivery method.

Ephedrine is produced by the Ephedra equisetina plant which stimulates the central nervous system. Chemical synthesis is used to produce Ephedrine, which is then marketed in the synthetic form of ephedrine salt or ephedrine sulfate. The synthetic product is a white crystalline power that tastes bitter and is soluble in both water and alcohol. The stimulant actions of Ephedrine can be compared to the stimulant actions of epinephrine, commonly referred to as adrenaline, which is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands. Only it is not quite as powerful.
